2015 Cadillac Escalade Design and Performance



The 2015 Cadillac Escalade SUV is the fourth-generation model that received a fresh new design, with most changes made inside. But first, to say something about the SUV’s performance.

The 2015 Cadillac Escalade will be powered by a 6.2-liter eight-cylinder EcoTec3 16-valve V-8 engine that will be able to develop 420 horsepower and 455 pound-feet of torque in rear-drive configuration. It will be mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Certainly, it will be offered with an optional 4×4 4WD configuration for the improved performance and better ride on different terrain types.
This SUV will be able to reach the speed of 60 mph in 6.8 seconds, and its maximum speed will be 130 mph.

The exterior of the refreshed 2015 Cadillac Escalade will feature a new and more sophisticated surfaces. On the front end, there will be a huge front grille lined in chrome materials.
At both sides there are vertical five-section LED headlights, consisting of pair of daytime running lights, indicator blade and side lights, as well as high and low beam crystal lenses.
Front the rear, the distinctive LED taillights stretch from the side on the D-pillars to the roof. On the top, there is the third brake light below which the rear window wiper is hidden.
The rear bumper looks smoother, and it has a plastic access panel that hides the standard two-inch trailer hitch receiver.
The 2015 Cadillac Escalade rides on 20-inch seven-spoke alloy wheels with chrome inserts.

Potential customers can choose among seven different exterior color variants, including Black Raven, Dark Granite Metallic, Silver Coast Metallic, Radiant Silver Metallic, Majestic Plum Metallic, White Diamond Tricoat, and Crystal Red Tintcoat.

Luxurious Interior

Inside, the cabin colors include Jet Black, Shale with Cocoa accents, and Kona Brown with Black accents. Designers used leather and wrapped materials for the interior, with addition of wooden trims that give it a luxurious and elegant look.

There is more interior space comparing to a previous model. Front seats have heating and cooling, while the second-row seats have standard heating.
The rear row of seats can be folded down to increase the cargo area. The 2015 Cadillac Escalade is great vehicle for a long-distance road trips and family vacations.
On the dashboard, there is a big 12.3-inch touchscreen display that driver can use to configure various setting and to use the new CUE system. It features GPS navigation, climate control, Bose audio system, park assist, news reader, etc.
The center console contains many infotainment system connections, with up to six USB ports and six power outlets.
Also, on the back, there is a Blu-Ray DVD player with a nine-inch, roof-mounted screen.

2015 Cadillac Escalade Price Tag

The new 2015 Cadillac Escalade is already available for sale for the base price of $72,690. Top model with two-wheel drive has a starting price of $81,190, but if you add all-wheel drive the price tag will increase for about $3,000. You have to pay additional 3 hundred dollars for the longer ESV model.
