The premiere introduces viewers to Amber, a 24-year-old woman from Oregon who weighs 660 pounds.
"Sometimes I think to myself, I'm never gonna change," Amber says in a preview clip. "I feel like a nasty, yucky monster."
Amber lives at home with her parents and boyfriend of two years. It takes her an hour to get moving in the morning and she gives herself a sponge bath sitting over a toilet because it's the one place she can fit.
"I am so limited in what I can do and where I can go," she said. "I feel trapped. I'm miserable."
The show will chronicle her journey as she prepares for and has high-risk gastric bypass surgery.
The show premieres at 9 p.m.
