Car will race in WEC in 2015
Porsche has released photos of the 919 Hybrid, and it is impressive.
A
week ahead of testing in Aubu Dhabi, Porsche has revealed it's new race
car, which will compete in the FIA World Endurance Championship.
The
2015 LMP1 has some big changes to it's 2014 counterpart, including
different bodywork and components. However, it will again feature a
2.0-liter V4 turbo.
Despite the reveal, Porsche is
still holding some cards close, as it has declined to say which hybrid
subclass the car will compete in. In 2014, it raced in the 6 MJ class,
but there is speculation the 2015 model could race in the 8 MJ.
In addition to Abu Dhabi, the new 919 Hybrid will also test at Motorland Aragon in Spain.
