The 2015 Mini Paceman showed off its new face at the Beijing auto show, following last week’s debut of the refreshed Countryman in New York. Like its four-door sibling, the 2015 Cooper S Paceman gets a slight power bump, while all models benefit from a quieter ride and interior tweaks. The Cooper S Paceman now makes 187 hp from its 1.6-liter turbo-four, which is a bump of six horses, though torque stays the same at 177 lb-ft. Mini claims that all models are more fuel efficient, though that many only apply to the European test cycle because the EPA figures for the 2015 Paceman have not changed. The base 2015 Paceman with the 121-hp 1.6-liter I-4 paired with the six-speed auto, for example, still returns 25/30 mpg city/highway, while the front-drive Cooper S Paceman with a six-speed manual gearbox is unchanged at 26/32. The John Cooper Works Paceman also carries over with its 208-hp 1.6-liter turbo-four
